The Merlin IIIB is fast at 350 mph with a maximum range of 2400 statute miles. The aircraft offers great travel flexibility and is comfortable for 8 passengers in club configuration. The aircraft is a faster, longer range air charter alternative compared to other similar turboprops.
Though not a legal requirement, Western Air Express will be offering the aircraft with a standard 2 pilot crew for additional safety.
The Merlin IIIB aircraft is equipped with all the necessary comforts including upon request a full refreshment center, toilet, climate control, pressurized cabin. It is also equipped with full long range navigational capabilities, weather radar and GPS approach equipment. The Merlin IIB has a cruising altitude of 25,000 feet not exceeding 35,000 feet.
